Tuition Assistance

The Office of Human Resources, in conjunction with the Finance Office, administers the following programs to provide tuition assistance to employees. For details about eligibility and application process please see policy below.

• The Tuition Reimbursement Program reimburses eligible employees up to a specified amount for courses taken at other accredited institutions of higher education as part of a degree seeking or credit-bearing certificate program in which they are enrolled. Application Deadline: October 21 for spring courses and April 21 for fall courses.

• The Tuition Waiver program allows eligible employees to complete credit and non-credit courses at UMW. Application Deadline: Two weeks before the class starts. For details about eligibility and application process please see policy below.
